  • Blueprint Literary Magazine
    Ann Arbor Area

Blueprint was founded in March of 2010 when a group of like-minded students from across the engineering college recognized the need for an accessible medium through which students and faculty of the College could showcase their creativity in non-engineering subjects. This new organization, then called "CoE Literary Magazine," imagined an annual publication where members of the College could share their works of creative art with the rest of engineering community. Blueprint has since expanded its initiative to incorporate the three other schools on North Campus-The School of Art & Design, The Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning, and The School of Music, Theater & Dance-to encourage the interdisciplinary exchange of ideas among members of the North Campus community.

It talks about Fibromyalgia food triggers, and the herbs, vitamins/supplements that can benefit you in the relief and tolerance of your Fibromyalgia pain. Being that I suffer from Fibromyalgia, my book is very personal and basic. It is easy to read information that other fibro sufferers can relate to. Included are personal poems of pain written during my sleepless nights of Fibromyalgia pain. Journeys, (An Inspirational Journal), is my next book that will be coming soon. Our mission is to maintain the integrity of truth and honesty. • Chelsea Writers' Workshop
    Chelsea Area

Founded in the spring of 2006, the Chelsea Writers' Workshop is a group of creative writers who meet every other Saturday morning throughout the spring and fall. During the summer we hold special events, seminars, and open mic readings. Our writers write novels, short stories, creative nonfiction, memoirs, poetry, drama, flash fiction, children's books, and some other things not so easily defined. Each Saturday, three writers have their work critiqued by the others. Once each season, a published author joins us to lead the critique and answer our questions on writing, publishing, getting an agent, and other topics of interest. Our members are over 18, computer savvy (submissions are uploaded to a group site) and serious about writing. Some of us have won contests and writing awards. BUT, we also encourage writers who have never workshopped before to join us for useful feedback, sharing of information about writing, moral support, and general hilarity!
