555 Nonprofit Gallery and Studios mission is to enrich the arts in a diverse Metro-Detroit. 555 was founded in 2002 in Ann Arbor and migrated to Detroit in 2004. 555 promotes and develops the arts by providing artists and the public with opportunities and resources to make art and be engaged with the arts. 555 inspires creativity by transforming underutilized spaces into dynamic and diverse arts environments that provide artists and community members the freedom, flexibility, and resources needed to develop artwork within a communal and publicly accessible space. 555 facilitates the development of emerging artists through offering exhibition and installation space; hosting and supporting local, national, and international Residency Artists; leading and collaborating in the development of Educational programs for the visual and performing arts; providing Studios and workspace for practicing Local artists; and developing Public Arts programming. 555's Residency Program is intended to create a better, creatively driven city by providing space for arts and community dialogue. In addition, we provide rental studio space for local artists, who are able to engage with residents as both teachers and students. To meet our goals we have been working to establish a stable location that is affordable, accessible, flexible, and open to a diverse audience and membership.

The Ann Arbor Fiberarts Guild (AAFG) provides opportunities for fiber artists to meet and exchange ideas, and to learn about fiber art through lectures and workshops. In addition to monthly meetings, the Guild promotes the enjoyment of fiber arts through information and demonstrations. We also sponsor sales and exhibits of our members' work, and participate in the Ann Arbor State Street Area Art Fair. The AAFG is an educational, not-for-profit club of fiber artists. It was founded in 1956 as a club for weavers and still has a large contingency of members who are weavers, as well as many members who create other forms of fiber art.

Blueprint was founded in March of 2010 when a group of like-minded students from across the engineering college recognized the need for an accessible medium through which students and faculty of the College could showcase their creativity in non-engineering subjects. This new organization, then called "CoE Literary Magazine," imagined an annual publication where members of the College could share their works of creative art with the rest of engineering community. Blueprint has since expanded its initiative to incorporate the three other schools on North Campus-The School of Art & Design, The Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning, and The School of Music, Theater & Dance-to encourage the interdisciplinary exchange of ideas among members of the North Campus community.

Ring of Steel Action Theatre, established in 1989, is an educational organization dedicated to developing and promoting the art of stunt work and refining the portrayal of staged violence. We believe that the skills necessary to practice theatrical combat compose a martial art unto themselves and that stunts require regular practice of basic skills and techniques for safety and effectiveness. One of the largest theatrical fencing salles in the nation, the Ring of Steel teaches classes in swordplay and stuntwork along with 15 basic combat skill areas, provides in-house workshops, choreographs for film, stage and TV, offers summer camps & programs and maintains an aggressive performance schedule in renaissance festivals, celtic faires, Sci/Fi & Fantasy conventions, haunted houses, film, television, opera, birthdays, weddings, movie openings, business parties and any other production or event that needs or is interested in adding action performances to their events.
