The 70 piece community band welcomes the summer American-style with its outdoor concert "America the Beautiful," followed by a traditional pie social. Under the direction of Conductor Dr. Chris Heidenreich, familiar selections by American composers such as Richard Rogers, Leonard Bernstein, Henry Fillmore and John Philip Sousa will be featured. From Dixieland to the popular Sound of Music, from West Side Story to traditional marches, this concert offers the best of American concert band music.
