The Arts Alliance serves as a regional regranting agency for the Minigrant program through a partnership with the Michigan Council for Arts & Cultural Affairs (MCACA). We administer Minigrants to organizations and artists based in Region 9 – Hillsdale, Jackson, Lenawee, Livingston, Monroe and Washtenaw County. Minigrants are special funding opportunities to address local arts and cultural needs and increase public access to arts and culture. Nonprofit organizations (arts and culture focused or not), public schools, private schools or municipalities may apply for both Arts Projects Minigrants and Professional or Organizational Development Minigrants. Individual Artists may apply for Professional or Organizational Development Minigrants only.
